Banking on the move, life in motion, investments when they matter. Following the social media channels provided by First Niagara will put you in touch with a vital source of information about your financial life. With Key Bank on your side, you can unlock your financial future.
Depending on your location, First Niagara Bank is either Northwest Savings Bank or Key Bank, depending on where you held your account. When it was first established it carried the name Farmers and Mechanics’ Savings Bank from its establishment in 1870 until 1967 when it was renamed the Lockport Savings Bank. It wouldn’t take the name First Niagara until the turning of the next century, and would only hold that name for the next 15 years when it was acquired by Key Bank.
In those years between its inception and its last trading of hands, it grew well serving the customers of Niagara County and the area surrounding it with everything from basic banking to auto loans and even insurance. Now those services are the responsibility of the banks that took possession of it, but they continue to provide incredible customer service to their members.
