Founded by General Electric in 1919, the Radio Corporation of America–frequently abbreviated as RCA–spent nearly seven decades building a reputation for quality electronics. It started with producing radio receivers, then gradually expanded to include various other devices, such as televisions, radios, and satellites.
Though the company became independent in 1932, it was reacquired by General Electric in 1986. Since then, various other companies have bought its pieces and the right to use its trademark, knowing how it inspires consumer confidence and loyalty. Curtis International licenses RCA products and provides customer support avenues for your RCA electronics.
If you need to talk to customer service, this article will show you all how you can do so.

The Radio Corporation of America boasts a long and storied history. It starts with the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America–colloquially known merely as American Marconi–which was established in 1899. This company was an extension of the British Marconi Company and was designed to hold the patents for Guglielmo Marconi’s wireless telegraphy invention. It eventually took over another American company known as the United Wireless Telegraph Company, which would become RCA in 1919 under the ownership of General Electric. Twelve years later, the RCA moved into the 30 Rockefeller Plaza building.
This company would grow and expand throughout the years, becoming involved with radio broadcasting and creating numerous forms of media transmission and viewing devices. RCA was the most prominent name in VHS players back in their prime. Nowadays, it produces laptops, video players, televisions, and much more.
