How do I change the opening screen? 

Evernote will default to opening the home page. However, it will open to the last screen you were viewing when you used it.

Is it possible to disable the home? 

No, there is no option to disable the home screen.

Is the Home page synced across all my devices? 

Any customizations you make to the home screen on your desktop will sync to all other devices you use Evernote on.

Is it possible to edit a pinned note from the widget? 

No, the view of the pinned note in your widget is read-only. You must click the green arrow to access an editable form of the note.

Is it possible to add sketches, formatting, tags, or reminders to the scratchpad? 

The scratch pad is only meant to provide a place for quick text notes. However, the scratchpad can be converted into a note if you wish to add formatting, lists, images, stages, reminders, etc.

Will the sketch pad appear in my search results? 

No, the search function will only show items held in notes. You can convert your scratch pad entry into a note to make it accessible to search.

How would I customize the appearance of my Home page? 

There is a customize button located in the upper-right corner. However, customization is only available with a paid subscription. These include the personal, premium, professional, or Teams subscription. When you are a subscriber, you can change the background image, reorder, add or remove widgets, resize the widgets, set the exact notes you wish to appear on the Home Page, and change the color and title of the scratchpad. Some functions are restricted to Professional and Teams users, such as adding more than one copy of some widgets.

Is Google Calendar the only calendar option available with Evernote? 

Currently, they do not provide support for other calendar programs. It is in their development plan to provide support for other calendar apps.

Is it possible to vertically expand the calendar widget to view more events simultaneously?

At present, only horizontal expansion is possible. Further, the widget will only display a single day, regardless of its width.

What happens if I cancel a subscription that has one or more Google accounts attached to it, and how does this affect the notes connected to that account’s calendar events? 

You will lose access to all account connections aside from the one that was initially connected to it. The calendar events on the remaining accounts will no longer be visible in the calendar widget. Notes linked to those calendar events will continue to show the details, but will not update in responses to the Google calendar.

Is it possible to view Evernote Notes from my Google Calendar? 

At present, it’s not possible to view notes linked to events in Google Calendar. However, you can put a public link in the calendar event description that leads to the note to provide access to other attendees.
