About Hershey Park

Milton Hershey wasn’t just a visionary when it came to chocolate; he believed that everything he did should make the world a more beautiful, happier place. So it was when he began laying out the city of Hershey he made room for Hershey Park, a theme park that would have as its foundation a sense of family joy and fun. Over the years the name of the park has vacillated, but ultimately it was decided that the proper name of the park would be Hershey Park. The park started with a simple carousel, which would be followed by a miniature railroad, boat rides, bumper car rides, six dark rides (such as a Haunted House), and a broad variety of kiddie rides, roller coasters, and more. With Hershey Park, it was clear that Milton wasn’t just about delicious chocolate, but about living a delicious life.
