The 24-hour number for automated risk authorizations is 800-366-5010. The system will ask you for your 8-digit Telecheck merchant ID number. After you input your ID, follow the voice prompts to enter the check information, like the state ID code, ID number, check number, and check amount. There is a fee charged for every operator-assisted authorization.

If you suspect inaccurate information, fraud, identity theft, or theft, call 800-710-9898 and hit option 6 to receive law enforcement assistance. Include the case number, the victim’s name, bank routing number, account number, TRS reference number, and your business information or contact information.

Telecheck Email/Contact Form

The Telecheck contact form is at: https://getassistance.telecheck.com/consumer-contact/. The form asks for a name, address, and phone number. There is no login or ID number required to submit the form.

For law enforcement assistance, email telecheckfraud@telecheck.com. The instructions say to make your request on agency letterhead and include the case number. Regardless of whether you or an officer contacts Telecheck, include the victim’s name, bank routing number, account number, TRS reference number, and contact information.

Telecheck Social Media

If there are any social media links on Telecheck’s website, they must be hiding them. I don’t understand why a company would go to the trouble of having social media accounts and then not have links to them available on their website.

I am assuming there are not many active social media accounts because consumers become very angry when their checks are declined. When people are mad, they lash out through social media. Telecheck probably does not want to create a forum for angry customers to complain about the services and threaten their employees with bodily harm.

The page is called Telecheck Services Channel Sales Office. Customers can contact them and send a message. I’m not sure if this is the same company as Telecheck. Both offices are in Georgia, but this has a different website than Telecheck. This may represent the business side of the company.

This seems odd, but the official Telecheck X page says that the account’s Tweets are protected. There is no content on their page and only 12 followers.

Telecheck YouTube Channel: Although there are plenty of Telecheck videos on YouTube, there’s not an official page for them.
